RERA Rwanda
Raising Connected Families
Strengthening the support systems children need to thrive.
RERA Rwanda is a family-focused social enterprise dedicated to raising children who thrive emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually by strengthening families, caregiving, and family-friendly systems.
our beliefChildren thrive when mothers and fathers share the responsibilities of work and family.
About RERAThe earliest years lay the foundation for lifelong wellbeing
Too many children grow up without the consistent, nurturing care they need because the families raising them are not adequately supported.
Mothers, often the primary caregivers, carry the greatest share of caregiving while also pursuing education, employment, entrepreneurship, or career growth. Without the right support, many women face difficult trade-offs. This is not simply a women's issue — it is a child development issue, an economic issue, and a societal issue.
What we doThree ways we strengthen the systems around a child
Strengthen Families
We equip parents to build nurturing, resilient families through parent coaching, family education, and couples programs.
Professionalize Caregiving
We train Parent Supporters to provide safe, nurturing, high-quality care for young children and become trusted partners to families.
Build Family-Friendly Systems
We partner with employers, policymakers, and communities so families thrive and women never have to choose between career and caregiving.
RERA TalksChanging conversations. Strengthening families.
RERA Talks brings together parents, professionals, employers, policymakers, and community leaders to have honest conversations about parenting, caregiving, child development, family wellbeing, and the future of families.
Let's build environments where children thrive and families flourish
We partner with employers, government institutions, NGOs, foundations, and international
organisations to strengthen the systems that shape a child's earliest years.
