What we do

Family support. Professional caregiving. Family-friendly workplaces.

RERA Rwanda strengthens the three support systems that most shape
whether a child receives consistent, nurturing care.

01 — Family Support

Strengthening families through workshops, counseling, and storytelling

Parent workshops

Practical sessions where parents explore motherhood and fatherhood and the everyday work of nurturing care.

Couples workshops

Space for partners to explore the impact of a healthy marriage on children's holistic growth.

Counseling

Personal support for parents and couples navigating the pressures of caregiving, work, and family life.

RERA Talks podcast

Storytelling and honest conversations about parenting, caregiving, and family wellbeing.

02 — Professionalize Caregiving

Developing skilled caregivers families can trust

We develop skilled caregivers to provide high-quality nurturing care for young children, so families have dependable, professional support at home.

Our nanny training grounds caregivers in early childhood development, with training on adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) coming soon.

03 — Family Friendly Workplaces

Workplaces where working parents can thrive

We partner with employers to implement family-friendly workplace policies and initiatives that support working parents — so women do not have to choose between career and caregiving.

Together, we can build stronger support systems for children, families, and communities

We work with employers, government institutions, development partners, foundations, early childhood and family organisations, and community and faith leaders.
